CINARS

This winter, CINARS is offering five full-day workshops that focus on practical issues. A hub of networking possibilities and fruitful discussions, these five theme-oriented workshops are custom-made for Canadian performing arts professionals who wish to broaden their knowledge and expertise of show presenting and international touring.

Since 1984, CINARS’ goal has been to encourage the export of the performing arts. This year, the thirteenth edition of our international platform took place in Montreal, bringing together 800 professionals from all around the world. CINARS also took their expertise on the road to the United States, Germany, South Korea, China, Spain and Japan, to accompany and give guidance to artist representatives in these markets. Furthermore, the 2008-2009 year was a time of renewal for CINARS, marked by the overhaul of its export-training program. These various projects became realities thanks to the financial support of the governments of Quebec and Canada, which have, over the past 25 years, been contributing significantly to the scope of the careers that our artists have enjoyed abroad.

CINARS will organize a joint participation to 7 international fairs during the 2009-2010 season. Artistic companies from Québec who wish to participate are invited to submit their application before June 12 (date of receipt).
